Dear Wendy Collins,
Thank you for your submissions to Artsmark.
Your Statement of Commitment and Case Study have been reviewed by our Levelling Panel and we are delighted to inform you that Ranvilles Infant School has been awarded an Artsmark Platinum Award. Congratulations!
The panel has made the following comment about your submissions:
Ranvilles Infant School has a longstanding commitment to the arts, but as its Case Study shows, the school is not complacent and continues to strive to offer the highest quality arts opportunities to its children. As one might expect from such a school the curriculum is well planned and staff expertise is secure. Additionally, the school’s commitment to linking with others, sharing learning and improving the quality of provision locally and nationally is to be commended. Recent application of action research methodologies is just one way Ranvilles Infant School is maintaining a fresh approach to the arts. Links with other schools through regional advisory provision and via strategic arts partnerships, such as the Campus Arts Network are a great way of innovating and sharing good practice.
As your Artsmark journey continues, and to consolidate Platinum level, it will be important to hear more in the future about the ways you apply learning from your action research to ongoing school development. It will also be useful to hear how your research feeds into your relationships with other schools.
Congratulations on your Artsmark Platinum Award!
